Thanksgiving Day 1994
At our house, Happy Thanksgiving is also Happy Anniversary! Ray and I were married on Thanksgiving Day sixteen years ago and we celebrate our Anniversary each Thanksgiving Day rather than the actual date of our wedding. Some of our friends accuse us of "cheating" since we are never on the hook because we have forgotten the date! Oh well...
It's also, LHO's one year anniversary! We signed our lease agreement in November of 2009 and opened our doors in late December. It's been a wonderful first year...thanks to a great support system of family and friends and all of you who have made LHO Design & Consign one of your "places" . . .

Below are pictures Ray snapped during our shopping trip to Farmers Market yesterday in preparation of our Thanksgiving Anniversary Dinner. If you haven't visited the Farmers Market recently you're missing a delightful shopping experience, fresh produce and great prices on many items. The buy of the day for us was six beautiful heads of garlic for $1.50 (since I needed a cup for our recipes). At the store, they were 2 for $1.00!
Plus, you get a view of our city that's stunning and majestic.
