On November 3rd, Janeen had the day off from teaching and decided it was a perfect day for a fall road trip to see the beautiful fall landscape and visit the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
I honestly don't know how it's now February 23rd and I'm just now sharing these lovely photos with you. My regrets!

I had the day off today so we decided to take a road trip. We enjoyed a day at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The Fall color is just about gone here in the Mitten. But it's beautiful here anytime of the year!
The views from atop of the Sleeping Bear Dunes are amazing! Beautiful Caribbean blue water. We visited two very popular spots in the park. Pyramid Point was our first stop. The short hike through the woods and up the Dune was worth the views that greeted us!
February Update: This month Janeen is bundled up for the dead of winter that has invaded the Mitten. She's an avid outdoors woman and appears to find enjoyment regardless of the elements Mother Nature throws her way.
Shown in the photo below she's enjoying the 5K Winter Snowstorm Snowshoe event held earlier this month.
